Canadian Government recognizes the many benefits skilled immigrants can bring to both the economy and society. For this reason, the Canadian Federal Skilled Worker program was established in order to expedite the immigration process for talented individuals who wish to live in Canada.
Skilled workers who settle in Canada on a permanent basis are especially valuable to Canada's economy and the strength of its workforce. The Canadian Federal Skilled Worker program is for people who are selected to immigrate to Canada because of their work experience and skills. Successful nominees of the Skilled Worker Immigration programs will receive a Canadian Immigration (Permanent Resident) Visa, allowing the applicant to immigrate to Canada with his or her family..
Being selected for the 2026 Federal Skilled Worker program to settle in Canada does not guarantee that you will be issued a permanent resident permit in Canada. Nominees must undergo an assessment by the Canadian Provinces and Territories Immigration Lawyers and Canada Immigration and Citizenship. If successful, the nominated candidate and dependent family members are then eligible for permanent resident permit in Canada.
Benefits to receive from Canada Government. Selected nominees will:
Get social security benefit when they retire
Get permission to start, own a business and create own cooperation
Have the right to apply for government- sponsored financial aid for education.
Legally own property. And other items that any other average Canadian does.
Benefit from the government housing project
Have access to security clearance, eligibility for government grants and exemption from export restrictions
The Canadian provinces and territories immigration lawyers and Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) will consider nominees entry mainly based on skills, experience and language ability. Take decisions on nominees application based on the information provided in the assessment form . Ensure you provide correct information and submit all relevant and original documents.
You must hold a valid regular passport, diplomatic or official. Service or public affairs passports are not valid for immigration to Canada. If you plan to get a new passport, you should do so immediately but must continue with the process until your passport is ready.
Successful applicants will receive a provincial certificate which allows applicants to apply for permanent residence and also speed up the process of obtaining a visa and Canadian Permanent Residence.
If you live in a country other than your country of nationality, include a photocopy of your visa for the country in which you currently live.
